Soul Fire specializes in authentic pit smoked barbeque served with soul. Our ribs, chicken, pork and brisket are dry rubbed and then slow smoked in the pit using a blend of local wood. We serve our barbeque dry, which means that the customer can choose from a variety of homemade sauces representing the major barbeque regions in the country.

BBQ in Allston? Yah, I was skeptical, too.
But Soul Fire does a nice job. Beef and baby back ribs are smoky and lean. Pulled pork is tender and juicy. All is unadorned with sauce, letting you add it yourself as desired. Sides of pickles, baked beans, and mac & cheese (with crunchy BBQ potato chips on top) make for a full satisfying meal. Check them out.
Great sauces, great meat, really nice people. And the "Spaghetti Western" is my dream food come to life.
