For TANGERINE owners, Leigh Donovan and Jennifer Gabrielli, owning a clothing boutique was the farthest thing from their minds. Leigh was enjoying huge success as a professional mountain bike racer, with over ten years in the hub of the cycling community, she accumulated national and world championship titles, winning countless events in both BMX and downhill mountain biking. Leigh could be seen in any mountain bike magazine (racing or through interviews) or atop the podium every weekend. A former World Champion, Leigh was looking forward to a long, fulfilling career in the cycling industry. While Jennifer dabbled in bike racing (that's how the girls met), her real talent lied in marketing and public relations and for nearly 10 years, she headed up marketing departments in the action sports industry, fitting in some racing on the side. In 1999, the girls landed the same sponsor and became teammates, racing for Intense Cycles, a Temecula-based custom mountain bike manufacturer. Leigh and Jennifer were fast friends and kept in touch after the season ended. In 2001, following Leigh's retirement from pro racing, Jennifer tipped her off to a job in the action sports industry and once again, the girls were working together, gaining mutual respect and having fun.
It was at a trade show in Las Vegas in 2002 when Leigh announced her plan to move on from the "industry" and open her own boutique. "Wanna be my business partner?" was all she needed to say to Jennifer and the plan was set in motion.
Jenn has always taken good care of us even after we moved to NC! Tangerine is a very comfortable place to shop.

I was one of Tangerines 1st customers and love their variety of excellent designers and also their personal touch to their customers. I feel like we are all good friends. They take your personal style and work with your confort zones to create a great look for you. They have amazing sales quite frequently. Best of all they give back to their community by supporting local charities.
They always have the staples; Nanette Lepore, Ella Moss, Juicy, True Religion all the upscale brands and then some new ones as well. I LOVE THEM : }
When Tangerine first came to Temecula several years ago Jenn and Leigh consistently had clothing one would find in Saks or Neimans. To this day they are true to their customer base and have not only outstanding clothing but outstanding personalities as well. Both of them had their girls very close to the same time and to have the priviledge of watching the store grow, along with the "girls" is a joy. Tangerine is well respected throughout the community of Temecula for their participation in volunteer work, and that speaks volumes in and of itself. They have a great selection of clothes with a range of prices to fit my needs depending on my wants that day. The girls are great and super friendly. I admire the success of their business.

This shop has it all - the best labels, well-edited and presented in fun, fabulous surroundings. They are hip & fun without any attitude, ever. No snobbery here, just friendly & fun. I think one of the co-founders has ties to extreme freestyle motocross and that edgy style kinda shows - but the clothes are always super feminine too. Great people-watching as you shop, too. Also I love how fashionable women of all ages shop here. I'm 39 and there are tons of women/girls younger than me shopping here and also older too.
I love, love, loveeeee Tangerine! Tangerine has the BEST to offer. There's only one boutique in the RC worth shopping at and that's Tangerine.
The staff is wonderful and full of fashion sense. You won't leave empty handed.

I LOVE this store they are so nice and have the cutest things in there. They will even call you when there getting a new shipment in. I love there selection of Juicy bags and accessories.
I shop like crazy here for my girlfriend, I think thats why she likes me haha. I have never had to return a gift here because they pick the best stuff out for her.
