The Boiling Crab

Category: Cajun/Creole (8 listings)

It all began in a little Southeastern Texas town called Seadrift. Seadrift population 2000, was home to Yo'Daddy and family. The family of crabbers and fishermen labored in their boats year-round, catching oysters, crab and shrimp for the seafood industry. As foiling as the work was, every weekend, the men would come home and make sure that they enjoyed their catch of the week....boiling craw fish and crab... shucking raw oysters... grilling fresh fish... always with a beer in hand. The enjoyment of fresh seafood and spending quality time with family and friends extended, after Yo'Daddy caught the best catch of hif life, Yo'Mama in 1995.

The food is absolutely great and the price is even better! If you don't mind eating with your hands and sharing with friends than you'll have a blast. Prices are so great because they sell by the Lb. Beers are $2 and the food is always fresh. If you like spicy then try the hot but I really suggest starting with mild...trust me it's hot enough. You won't be disappointed!
PS. Go early and avoid the daily 2-3hr wait. It's that good!
