Orange County's Oldest Drinking Establishment EST. 1925.
The Continental Room takes you back in time. The ambience and overall atmosphere is great. It is not a sports bar, but if you like Frank Sinatra and other classics in the afternoon, the Continental room is your ticket to have an enjoyable time. If you like live entertainment, the Continental also delivers a night life that spells "fun". Check out Elvis on Wednesday night. The martinis are served by real pros, especially daytime bartender, Bob Salem. Recommend that you meet a friend for a drink at the Continental Room, you will soon be a regular.

Intimate Setting (LOVE the dim red lighting) Great music (diff. mix of genres) depending on what nite you go. Awesome bar tenders. U can get some really rare vintage mix drinks from the older bar tenders there.

For as long as I've known about this venue, it has always provided the O.C. with what it lacks the most as far as nightlife goes -- GOOD MUSIC.
The Continental Room is probably the best kept secret in Orange County. This spot should really be in contention for live music venue, since they've brought out such amazing artists: from Peanut Butter Wolf, Supreme Beings of Leisure, Greasy Beats, Orgone, Chico Mann, DJ Numark, Cut Chemist, Juan Maclean, and many more, The Continental Room is the place you can count on to break new music and artists to the people. Not only that, though, but the people who have made The Continental their regular spot are to thank, open minded, music loving folks...do not sleep on this venue in 2009!

If the continental room is a dive, then I'm the Pope--but I will declare, they make the BEST classic Martini you can get. I mean, I make a good one, but I learned to appreciate them here.
