In the "real world", The Dinosaur Farm is a specialty toy and book store in South Pasadena, California, that takes great pride in calling itself "not your ordinary toy store." While we DO carry more dinosaur goodies than anyone around, we also offer a unique hand-picked selection of toys and books for non-dinosaur lovers. L.A. Parent magazine gave us the Best Independent Toy Store award for Southern California again. The Readers of the Pasadena Weekly just voted us "Best Toy Store" for the 3rd year in a row. Los Angeles Magazine just featured us in a Shop South Pasadena article, as did AAA's Westways Magazine. The now-defunct New Times Weekly named us Best Toy Store in their Best of L.A. issue, calling us "the perfect antidote to those suffering from Toys-R-Us burnout." Our online store is a different animal...er...dinosaur, though. We're the biggest source of dinosaur-related goodies on the internet, shipping packages all over the US and the rest of the planet. Online, we offer everything from dinosaur pencils to dinosaur comforters, from dinosaur puzzles to dinosaur lamps, dinosaur models to dinosaur caps...you get the idea.

Love the giant dinosaur murals on the walls. It is relaxed, fun, and friendly. Free gift wrapping, too. The owner, Dave Plenn, is kind and patient with kids and very personable with adults.
