The Galley is a beautifully preserved California landmark, located in Santa Monica - full of history and nostalgia. The seafaring interior, including everything from small portholes for windows and a captain's wheel that greets you as you come through the door definitely resembles an old boat with year round Christmas lighting. Outside, there's a patio with a fountain, decorated with fishing net and shells.
Ambiance, Excellent Service, Great Food, Reasonable Prices.
Love the Happy Hour as well.
Captain Ron is great, we have been eating there for years and love the decor as well as the food. ps I love the steak salad!
The Galley is such a charming local restaurant in the midst of Santa Monica! Everytime I walk in I'm greeted with smiling faces, and people I consider great friends... not to mention the food is delicious! Great place to relax and have a good time after a long stressful day. Highly recommended! Try the Filet!(to die for) and you must get them with the garlic mashed potatoes!!

My family has been going to The Galley since the '70s and it's like our second home. The food and the service go above and beyond. Captain Ron runs a tight ship!
