The Groundlings began as the Gary Austin (formerly of San Francisco's "The Committee") Workshop in 1972. As the improvisation classes became increasingly popular, a core group of performers began to showcase their material at various spaces for invited audiences, including The White House and The Improv.

You never know what you'll find at the Groundlings, but it's always funny!
Just simply great
Seen it 4 times in last two years and I always laugh.
They can always get a laugh out loud from me. They're unusual and out of the box. It's no wonder there are so many talents come out of there. Be prepared for it to be rated R, because they like dirty humor.
Always very funny!
