This place is soooo fabulous... I have sent many male friends there, as well as given gifts to visit The Shave. It so nice tof men to feel pampered too like ud girls do. This retro shave is perfect. I mean perfect!!

Never a bad cut or shave.
Saw Regis Philbin get a gift certificate a while back and this prompted me to stop in while visiting friends in LA. Such a close shave, I didn't have to shave again for 3 days! The care and personal experience was a delight and way beyond customer service at most men's spa's or any barber shop I've ever been to. Very pleased with the atmosphere and detail they put into the client experience. From the hot towels to the conversation.... top notch! Too bad they don't have a Shave in Atlanta!
Finally, a place where dudes can get together and talk about dude stuff in a dude environment with a dude-like cocktail in the company of some cool dudes -- and some very beautiful ladies, of course. The Shave rocks...I'd recommend it to anyone. I have the Shave of Beverly Hills -- the straight-razor shave mixed with neck rub and hand massage is worth every penny.
The best in luxury - amazing staff, amazing service, top notch professionals. And the vibe is by far the coolest men's club in town.
This place is totally overated and can they be any more pompous? I wnet in the other day and it was clear the staff is clueless on men's grooming items.

I had both my face and head shaved. I've had both done at various other shops in the LA area, including other shops in Beverly Hills. I'm cursed with a tough beard but paper-thin skin, and so in general, the visits to other shops are relaxing, but an ordeal. The Shave, on the other hand, kept me comfortable, and I never once felt like I'd have to walk the streets with a burning face for the rest of the day. It was a superb shave and a superb experience.
There is a technique that many barber shops lack, and that's the ability to adjust to the needs of the particular customer in the chair. The Shave has that technique down pat. Recommended.
If it is good enough for Eric Murphy and Larry David, it's good enough for me.
I try to go every week just to escape for a while. Pedro is a whiz! Ceaser is a champ! I cant mention the girls with out getting into trouble!!!
