We love The Shave. The staff is friendly and courteous. Their products make great gift items.
Meh. I've had better.
Gentlemen - This place is for you. Treat yourself to a world class pampering at The Shave. This place is like no other.
I had both my face and head shaved. I've had both done at various other shops in the LA area, including other shops in Beverly Hills. I'm cursed with a tough beard but paper-thin skin, and so in general, the visits to other shops are relaxing, but an ordeal. The Shave, on the other hand, kept me comfortable, and I never once felt like I'd have to walk the streets with a burning face for the rest of the day. It was a superb shave and a superb experience.
There is a technique that many barber shops lack, and that's the ability to adjust to the needs of the particular customer in the chair. The Shave has that technique down pat. Recommended.
If it is good enough for Eric Murphy and Larry David, it's good enough for me.
I try to go every week just to escape for a while. Pedro is a whiz! Ceaser is a champ! I cant mention the girls with out getting into trouble!!!
its a great place
I go there every week. Chris and Lori are the very best!
Excellent atmosphere and service. It is rare today to have this level of detail given to every man that walks through the door.
The Shave is not only located in the best City in the world, it also is the best place for a man to get manicured to tackle the demands of his destiny.
This is the best place in the world to get service for a true gentleman. Everything about The Shave is superior!!
The range of haircut offerings is tremendous great, including razor cuts that require skill to do correctly
They do an AWWWWWWWWWSOME job!
Specially Mr. Peter ;D
i beleive they are the best!!!why? Because its a unique shop to be in, no other shop in l.a. is unique as the shave of beverly hills!!!!by the way my friend peter works there!!!! im a barber myself, and i admire him for working in l.a.'s most luxurious barbershop!!!!!
Their place is one of a kind, as well as the service..
The Shave has got to be one of the most enjoyable experiences. I normally go in on Sundays with my son for the "dad and lad"...father and son haircut. The staff couldn't be more friendly or talented. Top notch.
Because they are the best
Great service!!
Style and class make this the #1 spot to get a shave in Los Angeles...Highly recommended.
The Shave is at best a shameful anachronism catering to a clientele that has nothing better to do with their time than have someone kneel before them and shine their shoes. Their services are overpriced and mediocre. For about a hundred dollars, the average customer gets what is tantamount to a comb-over (given the age and baldness of the average patron). You might also receive a shave that is barely distinguishable from a Bic plastic razor. There is nothing any competent barber could not perform as well or perhaps better. Regarding the atmosphere/experience--namely the wood paneling and old-fashioned decor--they capture not only the essence of faux-prestige, but also the values of class inequality and a subtle yearning for the "good ol' days" where blacks and minorities served and groomed rich white men. Nonetheless, every business has it's niche. If you're an ancient, out-of-touch old fart who doesn't have any hair to shave anyway and enjoys watching movies from the last century starring Cary Grant and Humphrey Bogart, then The Shave is definitely the place for you.
