Great place to go and people watch, enjoy the sun but most important to get the most AMAZING breakfast. The Sugar Shack Cafe is located a block and a 1/2 from the Huntington Beach Pier. Serving Breakfast and Lunch All Day! Open one evening a week on Wednesday's till 8 PM serving the full menu and the daily special of Turkey and all the Fixing's. It is just like a Thanksgiving feast in the middle of May. Indoor Seating, Front Outdoor Patio Seating and Back Outdoor Patio Seating with Heaters for the chilly Beach Mornings. The Sugar Shack was established in 1967. At that time it was just a 1 waitress and 1 cook operation. With just counter seating and 5 tables on the inside no outside seating. In 1979 Michele and husband Tim bought the Sugar Shack from Michele's parents who were going to put it up for sale. Now the Sugar Shack has grown over 25 employee's and well over just the counter and 5 tables for seating. Michele strives on making sure every one of her customers is happy. When you dine at the Sugar Shack and you want a bit of history be sure to sit in the inside original section at the counter. Ask for Michele if she hasn't already started serving you! Michele will make you feel like right at home. You will most likely think everyone in the restaurant is family because that is the way Michele makes them feel. It is beautiful. If Michele is not there you will see one of the three of her children. The oldest and only daughter Holly is seeing to the day to day operations always there waiting on tables as well she can be sure to fill you in on a history lesson or two or one of the two sons Ryan or Timmy can be found hard at work behind the counter, as long as they are in the country. Michele's children take as much pride in the family business as their mom does and wants you to be completely satisfied and know that you will be!
