There is only one children's boutique I frequent and that is Tough Cookies. I love the owner (I think her name is Shannon or Sharon) and the selection is hip, fun and is great for gifts and funky basics for my toddler.

This is the best children's clothing store around! The styles are adorable - very cutting edge, but still realistic to a child's needs/desires. The clothes cover various price ranges and the staff is amazing. The owner is always there and she could not be any nicer or more knowledgeable. This is the place to go on a regular basis for both back-to-school shopping and gift shopping.
The most original designs anywhere! Thought I would buy a couple of things and ended up buying half the store for my twin (girl/boy) four-year-olds. Shannon, you know your stuff!

This is a great store. The owner has an amazing eye for kid's style. Her service is beyond any that I have experienced at other stores. This is a spectacular place to shop for your own kids, as well as for gift giving. I highly recommend it.

Shannon always finds unique clothes that we can't find elsewhere, and she's always so helpful when we come in. We always feel like we get really personal service when we're there.

Great selection and the employees are very knowledgeable about the lines they carry, including how they fit, etc. Definitely a one-stop-shop for a last minute baby gift, especially since the gift wrapping is so adorable- I'm often there dressed up and on my way to a baby shower!
Shannon is so passionate about children's clothing that it comes through in every aspect of her store. There is always someone, friendly, on hand to help you select the most adorable, most precious, gifts for kids 0 to 6 years old. I've given many holiday and baby shower gifts from Shannon's store and received raving appreciation. And, if you know people in the Midwest or have relatives you want to impress send their kids clothing from Tough Cookies and you won't believe how amazed the recipient is. I did this with a professional relationship when his first grand daughter was born and he, and his entire family, couldn't believe the uniqueness of the gift and how cozy it kept their child. There's no one better than Tough Cookies
