Uncle Bud's Kitchen is a family owned breakfast diner located in the heart of Bellflower, Ca. This small eighteen seat diner has been serving amazing home cooking since 1942. At Uncle Bud's everyone who comes through the door is considered part of the family. We hope that you enjoy our food and company so much that you will visit us on a regular basis.
Bud's is the best breakfast place around. They have the best biscuits and gravy and a to die for homemade salsa to put on the omelets and eggs. The cafe is very small with only 10 counter seats and to two tables that seat a total of 8 so sometimes there is a wait on the weekends--but it is well worth the wait. The owner and her daughter are a delight and they make you feel like they have known you for years. Try this place. I think you'll be very surprised and often the little mom and pop places are a "find."
This has to be the coolest place I've EVER been to. A friend of mine called me up to meet him for an early breakfast at a small cafe called Uncle Bud's Kitchen. When the hour of 5:30 rolled around it didn't seem like such a good idea, but because I'm such a great friend I met him there anyways. Now, he told me it was small, but I've never in my life seen a sit down cafe quite this small (only 18 seats total!!) Please don't let the size of this place discourage you, the food is amazing. I had Biscuits and Gravy and man were they good; so good that I ordered a second helping (something I've never done in a restaurant). I don't know how they do it at such an early hour, but the family that owns the business is the nicest family I've ever met. They make you feel as if you are just another family member over for breakfast at Moms!
