Upright Citizens Brigade Theatre is the home for all things comedy in Los Angeles. We have affordable, high quality shows seven nights a week. All shows are ALL AGES. We also run one of the largest and most respected improv schools in the country.

Every show is great, every performer is extremely talented. An awesome place for improv (or sketch comedy, for that matter) any day of the week.

UCBT is one of the premiere comedy theaters in the country. They are constantly pushing the envelope and do a ton more than just improv. Although the improv they do there is the best I've ever seen.
The Upright Citizen's Brigade Theatre got me through my first year in college. I can honestly say I've never laughed that consistently hard at any other venue anywhere. So thank you, UCB, thank you.

They are just funnier. ASSSSCAT is an amazing show and it isn't their only amazing show. There classes are great. They are the only ones that focus on teaching the game of the scene which is what makes improv funny. Even if you don't think you are playing the game of the scene, you are, if people are laughing. UCB is the only theater that focuses on the game in LA.
Bar-none, some of the most dynamic and exciting improv and comedy in LA is coming out of the UCB.
