When we got our pup I researched high and low to figure out how and where to train him. I am Thrilled that I decided to hook up with Urban Tails...not only is our dog trained and content, the gang at Urban Tails have my back with advice, counsel and really healthy food and supplies. It's our doggy community! And that means alot to me, my kids, husband and the cutest fuzzy fella of all time ;)

The environment is such a pampered and chick one where my pooches can play and meet with their friends while I socialize with mine. They have just about everything our pampered furry children could ever want or need. And the Owner is such an excellent dog trainer that he can get through the thick skulls and stuborness of all three of my doxies!
I'm an almost 3 year old mini-dachshund who LOVES to go to Urban Tails. My owner first noticed the store when she saw a dog training class one evening going on in the parking lot. Knowing I needed a little help, she took me in the very next day to see the store and meet the owners. I went crazy!!! The store is filled with all the things I love...including healthy/organic food and bedding made from hemp filled with recycled plastic bottles! The owners were great and didn't mind letting me run around as I got to check out the place. Oh, and the training worked...I love the quiet hand signals I learned there and all the treats my owner gives for being such a great little girl :-)

I've taken my dog to dog class here and it is by far the best in the area. Zach and Karena know your dogs and are very friendly, courteous and helpful. Also its one of the best dog stores in LA with a great selection of products that you can't find at a traditional store like Petco.
Zack, Karina and Mr. Moon are simply the best! They are no nonsense and they really care for their customers.

I love this place!!! The perfect location for a pet supply store... used to be a grungy video store and it is just what our dog-loving neighborhood ( and other animals too) needed and wanted!
This store is like no other! It's not a snobby pet-boutique where you feel stupid for asking the most minor questions... the feel and energy of the store is relaxed and welcoming. Definitely a place a pet and owner want to come back to, sit and hang-out or wander the aisles to find unique items that you can't find anywhere else. The owners, Karena and Zach are also easy to talk to when you have questions big and small - they are a wealth advice that have been there for us through the puppy phase with our two dachsunds. I highly recommend their obedience classes as they are inexpensive, a good social environment for you and your pets and invaluable training( mostly for the owners). I won't shop anywhere else!
They have everything you could possibly need for your pet, the store is beautiful, and everyone who works is really nice to boot!
