I previously posted an unfavorable review of OC Tan, yet it continually gets flagged and deleted. I suppose Matt is more concerned with concealing the skeletons in the closet than dealing with them. I won’t dispute that the OC Tan has a wonderful facility, and the majority of the staff is cordial and warm. There are exceptions to this rule, and I was intentionally misled by an employee. My credit card was charged for months after terminating my account. I addressed the issue with Matt by email, and he was rude and refused to remedy the situation. I hope he enjoys the money he stole from me, as he apparently needs it more than I do. Do yourself a favor and avoid this business at all costs.

I suggest avoiding this business, as I experienced highly unethical and rude behavior from their management. As everyone has stated, the facility itself is wonderful – too bad the management team isn’t. While traveling on business I called to cancel my membership, and the staff member was condescending and rude. She commented that I couldn’t cancel for the next month – even though I was calling prior to the start of the next month. I asked if I could cancel for the following month, and she said “yes,” and said she had taken care of that for me. To my shock – I was billed, again, the next month. I contacted the management team, and I was told that I couldn’t cancel by phone (although I was never advised of such by the staff member). They did state that a form could have been faxed, since I was out of town – another fact that was never disclosed. The latest charge resulted from inappropriate handling by their staff, but the management team defended her and became belligerent and rude with me. I’ve saved every correspondence, should anyone want to see.
