West Coast Hwa Rang Do Academy

Hwa Rang Do is without question, the most complex martial art in existence. It is vast, simple, and really effective. Grandmaster Taejoon Lee is a true Hwa Rang Do warrior and an excellent martial arts instructor. His father, Dr. Joo Bang Lee the founder of Hwa Rang Do, is a great person who I have tremendous respect for and his son.
West Coast Hwa Rang Do is an excellent school with admirable students, respectful instructors and an incredible master. It is not just about fighting, but having moral ethics and having respect for oneself and everybody.
Grandmaster Taejoon Lee was the first person I saw on Hwa Rang Do before knowing. He astonishes me a lot on martial techinques and principles. His school is definitely the place to learn martial arts in Los Angeles. Grandmaster Taejoon Lee is amazing at what he does. I still want to learn a lot from him.
I am extremely fortunate and proud to be in Hwa Rang Do. Hwa Rang Do showed me a path and I found so much hope when I was emotionally and personally lost with dispair. It took away my fear and gave me courage and strength. I don't have to be afraid of others anymore.
Let me make one thing straight, this is a pure martial art. Hwa Rang Do has a plethora of martial art techniques based on moral values. You will go far beyond your expectations. It is also known as the martial art of infinite options. Hwa Rang Do made me believe that absolutely anything is possible at any age and time.
If I never was in Hwa Rang Do, I don't know where I would be or what person I'd be today.
Anyone is welcomed to join Hwa Rang Do. For those of you who want to join or thinking about joining, BE PREPARED!
