First off, let me say half the positive reviews on this site were written by trainers at the gym as if they were members.

I've been a member for years and am finally fed up with all their nonsense. The place is not crowded and does have a "boutique," community feel but its dirty, smelly and the machines are always broken. Management is poor to nonexistent and staff turnover is high among those who show courtesy, common sense and smarts. The ones who barely acknowledge your presence or are argumentive and rude always seem to stay. They are now trying to raise fees a high % on existing members at renewal yet they never repair or improve the experience for them. I've heard they are courting a buyer, so maybe it will get better sometime soon. In the meantime, I'm checking out Easton, Train and 24 Hr, all of which are nearby and whose fees actually seem fair for what they offer.
