This is, hands down, the best comic shop ANYWHERE. Their Eisner Award which they one in 2007 given once a year to the best comic shop in the U.S. proves just that! They have the best selection in town, the most organized displays with an emphasis on trade paperbacks for the newly initiated and by far they have the nicest and most knowledgable staff. They are always willing to take time to not just help customers but make them feel welcome. They don't just make recomendations. They ask what you like and then recommend titles based on your interests. They respect the medium of comic books, both mainstream and independent, as well as those who read them. Combine this professionalism with their work within their community from school programs to libraries to hospitals and beyond and it's plain to see that Judd and the rest are a truly valuable asset to their community, the Valley and Los Angeles as a whole. I'm very proud to patronize Earth-2.
