Pretty good vegetarian menu near UCI - especially love their "Steamin Kale" but the prices are very high. $10-12 for a simple sandwich/salad lunch. They need to lower prices to compete with other places.

The ambience here is fantastic - sort of a rustic "commune" vibe in Costa Mesa's The Camp. The food is also delicious. The menu is not limited; not as inventive as other veggie places. Most of their bowls are the exact same bowl with different sauce. The "Rockin' Morrocan" is by far the best.

What has made me avoid this restaurant ever since my second visit are the EXTREMELY HIGH PRICES. They are OUTRAGEOUS. I spent over $15 on lunch for a veggie bowl and a drink. My husband and I went for dinner with a friend and our bill was over $40 for 3 items. WE COULDN'T BELIEVE IT!! The prices are ridiculous for a cafe/food-food-style place... Maybe its the rent? We've since switched to another vegetarian restaurant in Fountain Valley where you can get twice as much for 1/3 the price. I wish the owners of Native Foods would lower their prices so the average diner can enjoy their menu without breaking the bank with such high prices... Especially since its marketed as a casual walk-in cafe.

The food here is incredible. This is definitely a "meat lovers" vegetarian restaurant with a great variety and inventive all-soy/vegetarian menu. Although the ambience is below average/dark (all tables/no booths), the staff and owner are friendly and always attentive. The sauces are especially appetizing. I recomend the Sa-tay.

The food here is okay, there are better places for vietnamese vegetarian. But I must say the service is terrible. There is only 1 waiter for the entire restaurant and when it is not full, he will usually ignore your table. Even after you wait 10-15 minutes to place your order. We walked out and were followed by the owner, who begged us to come back in. She took our order and our food came out shortly after. This shouldnt be required to get good service.

The food is very inventive, but the service was terrible. I've tried the food from a health food market so I decided to go to the restaurant. First of all, its tiny and hot. I sat and waited for 10 minutes and finally got up and left when no one came to take my order. Also, there were no menus since the owner lady did not "print anymore out" recently. Food: B- Service: D
