Finally a barber shop without the ego attitude! I get a great cut at a better price than the "other guys". Pedro treats you like he is happy you are there for him not the other way around. Ive experienced that type of attitude and no more. Go to the Parlor and get a great retro cut or just a regular cut.
Seen him twice now and made it a point for my wife and I to see him this last week. Even came through to get us our tickets to this sold out function! You could be 18 to 81 to enjoy his performance of not only Elvis (a skinny one at that!), but Neil Diamond and Frank Sinatra (with others sprinkled in there to keep the party going). Next time you have a function, hire Scott! He is the equivalent of an 15 piece band!
Not sure if my dad had hot broods in his barber shop but the hair cut is secondary. Sure, there is no beer waiting for you, nude magazines on the counter, cool kat music playing or nowhere is there that feel of talking trash about your woman because your hairstylist is a woman! Not sure what a "cultivated man" means but if that is code for a danny boy aka metro man, then this is the place for you! As stated, the ladies will give the best possible treatment for all of your hair, um skin and even nail care (yes, that is correct) and even stay connected with the world which means you can be on your laptop checking the blogs of American Idol and Dancing with the Stars. Staying connected with your guy friends, though, will be lost. But if they cant understand the blonde hilites ,then you really dont need them anyways. If you already walked through the door that says "Metro for Men" ,than you missed the irony in it.
Yes Hawleywood is always on offense(see post a few down) never needing to be on defense. Nice post ....broad.
My local bagel shop walking distance! Not only a good secection of Bagels but great breakfast with it. Always packed on the weekends so if you know what you want (specials are great too), call in first than head down so you dont wait in line. Dogs welcomed on the outside tables too.
Soup AND salad. That is all you need to know. Best price for an actual full meal.
Only south county nominated and close to stage at a great price. Not too many places have their own rooms upstairs where you can mengle with the performers before and after their set.
This is a great place and that is before you get the cut! If you want an old fashion cut and service, go no further than Hawleywoods. I am now a customer every three weeks.
