Definitely the best Ice Cream in the world. I Love it and Love it and Love it even more. I grew up in Akron OH and believe it or not Donna and Randy do a better job than the original store. As an Akronite, Stricklands was the hot spot from April through October. With only one shop, You had to wait a long time to get your frozen custard and there were not baseball teams there. The parking lot was packed from after dinner up until close. There is nothing like it. The way it coats your tongue and the film around the ice cream as it melts is just unbelievable sensation. I recently moved back to Akron a year and a half ago and was traveling weekly from San Gabriel to Irvine from the time I found out it opened until my move back in Nov 06 to get my fix. That is a 100 mile round trip. Worth every minute of it. Randy and Donna have not compromised any of the original Stricklands flavor or creaminess for cheaper indgredients. The flavors are out of this world and even helped them develop some new ones that have caught on in Akron. Well I will surprise them when I see them tomorrow and let them know that I have moved back and closer to them.
