My wife and I finally stopped into this little place, picked up some bagels and cream cheese (NOT prepackaged which is great). We had to run out to find an ATM first because they are a cash business, but it sure was worth it. We got home, toasted a couple up and they are simply the best bagels I've had in quite a long time. Now, I'm not from New York, so I will not claim I'm an expert but I judge the quality of food very harshly.
They were soft and tasty and the cream cheese was good traditional stuff that brought out the flavor in a way I haven't been able to enjoy since who knows when.
They have some tables inside, looked like free LA Times to peruse, as well as a couple tables outside if the weather is right (going to bring the dogs next time.)
