When the original owner moved to San Francisco in the early 1970's, the only thing he missed was his favorite Brooklyn pizza. the hearty, zesty meal of his childhood made San Francisco's Pizza seem pale in comparison. In search of the taste of his youth, in 1979 he and his partner opened the first Village Pizzeria. They believed they could combine Brooklyn flavor with California fresh and produce a truly great pizza. This is absolutely one of the very best pizzas anywhere. The proof of the pizza is in the eating. Join us, make yourself comfortable and enjoy!

They have the best pizza! Just stopped by yesterday for the Veggie II...our favorite! Parking isn't the greatest, but it's Larchmont and well worth the trip.
I'm from the east coast where the best pizza exists. Village Pizzeria tastes like the pizza I grew up on. Never thought I would find that here in L.A.!
Now if I can only find a restaurant that has fried clams..the whole clam, not just the strips! Sigh....my east coast food memories:-)
