They don't make movie theaters like this any more. The screen is huge, the rows between the seats wide enough for people to walk in front of you without you having to move at all, the sound system is great and can make the building shake. The seats don't recline and are not as wide as one might like, but the leg room, screen size, and most importantly in this day and age, the PRICE ($9.75 for non-matinee, $6 or so for matinee) make up for it. And the decor is amazing, it's like a mini-Graumann theater, without all the tourists!

how great is it to go to a old theater with character, love it. This is a treasure for LA and its community of Los Feliz and Silverlake. We hold pride in the fact we have not torn it down like other older theaters have.
