We knew we had to hire her when she came to meet our dogs (all seven of them), and the spoiled rotten female mini dachshund went to her when I was sitting right across from her! In addition, we looked at her credentials-emergency pet medical training, insurance, bonded, etc.
When we came back from our first weekend away, the dogs were obviously happy and well taken care of. In the past, the dogs have made it clear that they were NOT happy that we left. Now, they seem like they (almost) didn't miss us.
I would recommend Barbara to EVERYONE with animals. She pays more attention to our dogs than we do.
We've been using her for three years now and if she's not available (when we wait too late to reserve a holiday), we don't go.
