Welcome to a truly traditional Mexican grill. Zapien's Salsa Grill and Taqueria, has been serving Southern California since 1994. After working in the sports and entertainment industry for years, Chef/Owner Marco Zapien decided in 2003 that it was time to build a reputation in the private sector by partnering with his father Jess in a family operated restaurant. Zapien's Salsa Grill and Taqueria has been in operation for many years now and has been a community favorite for each and every one of those years. The Salsa Grill also provides catering services for private dinners, business luncheons or any reason to have great food served to you and your guests.
Had lunch there today to see what all the fuse on here was about and was very disappointed. Greasy tacos, lardy beans, salsa was good. Local hang out in a strip mall, and if you vote they will give you 15% off your next bill!!! sounds like bribery!
The food is THE best home made style. No matter what you order, it's always hot and tasty. They cater to you when you are there. The chicken mole is to die for and you can't beat all u can eat carnitas on Friday's with home made tortillas and delicious salsa's. All the staff is wonderful!!!!

If u haven't tried this place, u are missing out!!! We're talking best Mexican food here right??, Hand made tortillas, bean dip with the chips and that fresh Pozole everyday, enough said!
this is a great restaurant to go and dine with family and friends..its also a magnificent place for a date...on friday they give CARNITAS all you can eat for only $12

I thought it was just the chicken mole that was outstanding but the more I try the more I like! Even the soup that comes with the lunch specials is delicious.
